Are there any chemicals? Inducoat Ecological is created completely from natural materials and is a fine wax emulsion free of VOCs, silliconate / Siloxane or silane-based technologies.
How often do you reapply Stone Protect? One standard two coat application is effective for 3 plus years. Once reapplication is required simply clean surface with low-pressure spray and reapply one coat of Stone Protect.
How do you apply Stone Protect? Shake can well. Apply two coats with low pressure spray, block brush or roller. 30 minutes to 1 hour between coats.
Is this a paint? No, Stone Protect is a chemical-free breathable coating (not a paint as paint creates a film meaning the substrate / surface cannot breathe).
Are any safety precautions required? Stone Protect is free of solvents and VOCs meaning no special safety measures are required.
Stone Protect – is a fine wax-emulsion – free of VOC’s and without siliconate, siloxane or silane based technologies. There is little or no change in the aesthetic appearance or the surface. The surface remains fully permeable to water-vapor exchange. Hydrophobic impregnation creates a water-repellent surface to keep water and aggressive water-soluble salts out. Algae and moss have limited adherence to the surface.
